Screen renders at 96 DPI, Standard at 150 DPI and Print at 300 DPI. A higher setting creates more pixels and usually larger files; 300 DPI also uses substantially more memory and may be refused on a constrained device.

JPEG is a rendered, lossy image
The result no longer contains selectable PDF text, links, forms or vector objects. JPEG compression can introduce visible artefacts around text and lines, so PNG can be a better fit for diagrams or interface screenshots.
